PDA Building was approached by our long-standing client of 20 years to constructs a 3-level multidisciplinary medical centre in The Boulevarde Toronto, this presented tight and limited site access to a busy street and pedestrians. This Building has 2 levels of underground parking extending to all boundaries which created significate challenges of underpinning the adjoining multi-level building prior to the deep excavation that was required for this project. To protect the environment a water filtration system to clarify and adjust the PH level was implemented to deal with the large volume of rain and seepage water collected on the site, PH samples where undertaken and logged prior and during each discharge to maintain environmental standards, in recognition of the site difficulties, quality of construction and high standard of finishes PDA Building received the 2015 excellence in building award for projects over $5 million by the Master Builders Association.
